Good article, although I disagree Griffey "pouted" his way out of town. I don't remember it that way, I remember him leaving quite amicably for less money than he could have gotten so he could go home to Cincinnati. His "pouting" only related to the Ms not putting up the cash to go out and get the missing pieces to put them over the hump and win a title.

Funny the article mentions "They have done it the old-fashioned way — pitching (their 3.60 ERA ranks No. 1 in the AL), defense, and camaraderie."
